Q.How do I use the camera translator?
Tap the scanner icon on the main screen and point your camera at a foreign menu, price tag, or receipt. Make sure the text is well-lit and in focus. The app will automatically recognize the text, translate it into your preferred language, and convert the prices into your home currency in real-time.
Q.What's the difference between the Free and Pro plans?
The Free version allows you to use the standard currency converter and includes a limited number of camera scans per day to help you get started (supported by ads). The AuraCurrency Pro plan unlocks unlimited camera translations, completely removes all advertisements, and lets you use the manual currency converter offline—perfect for saving on expensive roaming charges while traveling.
Q.Why is my camera translation failing or inaccurate?
Our AI translator works best with clear, well-lit images. If a translation fails, try moving closer or turning on your device's flashlight. Additionally, if you are using the Free plan, an active internet connection is required for the AI to process the image and fetch the latest exchange rates.
Q.Are the exchange rates accurate?
Yes! AuraCurrency uses reliable, real-time exchange rate data for over 150 global currencies. The app updates these rates automatically in the background whenever your device is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data, ensuring you always get the fairest conversion.
Q.How do I manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device. You can view, modify, or cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your device's central subscription settings.
Q.Can I get a refund?
Refunds are generally not provided for unused subscription periods, except where required by law. Because transactions are handled securely by Apple and Google, we cannot issue refunds directly. For In-App Purchases, you can request a refund through Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com or the Google Play Store within their applicable time frames.
Q.Is my data safe?
Yes, we take data protection very seriously. The images you capture using the camera translator are only processed temporarily to provide you with the translation and are not stored permanently on our servers or shared publicly. Your personal account information is stored securely. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we handle your data.
Q.How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account directly within the app. Navigate to your Profile or Settings screen and tap on "Delete Account." Once confirmed, your account and all associated personal data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our database.
